Job summary

McKinstry Essention, LLC in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex mechanical projects, manage client relationships, and oversee revenue. The role may direct multiple Project Managers and requires in-depth contract, drawing, and safety knowledge.

You will drive project plans, controls, procurement, and coordination across internal teams, vendors, and field staff, while maintaining McKinstry safety standards and reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Eight (8) years of experience in project management or related field.
• Experience with General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor.
• Proficient in scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or SureTrak.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects from initiation to closeout.
• Develops and manages project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
• Oversees coordination of internal and external resources for project completion.
• Communicates with clients and project resources (subcontractors and vendors).
• Obtains detailed knowledge of contract, drawings and specifications for projects.
• Assesses safety compliance and site safety; ensures on-site personnel safety.
• Oversees procurement activities for Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.
