Job summary

McKinstry in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a nationally growing Mechanical division. You will handle high‑complexity projects, nurture client relationships, and oversee revenue with possible supervision of other Project Managers.

Your role includes proposing plans, coordinating internal/external resources, and ensuring safety compliance while delivering timely business reports.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficiency for the responsibilities of a Project Manager.
• BA/BS in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Eight years of experience in project management, building operations or related field.
• Experience with General Contractors or major Mechanical Subcontractors.
• Proficient in scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, Suretrak.
• Knowledge of construction management, financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects from initiation to closeout.
• Develops and manages project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
• Coordinates procurement activities for Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.
• Maintains safety standards and ensures subcontractor compliance.
• Communicates with clients and project resources (vendors/subs).
• Supports RFP processes and prepares monthly project accounting reviews.
