Job summary

Tiello LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale mechanical and HVAC construction projects in the Bay Area. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can manage projects from estimating and design through construction and closeout, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, field teams, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years of project management experience in mechanical construction or HVAC
• Strong understanding of design-build and life sciences projects
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, ACC, Asana
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to resolve conflicts
• Problem-solving mindset; ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects through estimating, design, construction, and closeout phases
• Review contracts and provide feedback on scope, value, and terms
• Collaborate with superintendents and estimators to establish labor phasing and tracking
• Develop, publish, and update project schedules weekly
• Lead weekly construction team meetings and provide 4-week look ahead schedules
• Manage progress billing, change orders, subcontractors, and equipment procurement
• Track labor productivity and project costs; report monthly to operations leadership
• Price and draft change orders and proposals
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures
• Manage punch lists, start-up, commissioning, and closeout documentation
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects in the $5M-$10M range or single large-scale project ($8M-$10M)
