Job summary

Tiello LLC is partnering with a reputable San Francisco HVAC/Mechanical contractor to appoint an experienced Plumbing Project Executive. The role oversees plumbing project operations from preconstruction through execution, client relationships, and financial performance across healthcare, bioscience, tenant improvement, and data center projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in commercial plumbing construction, proven leadership of project teams, strong P&L

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive experience in commercial plumbing construction.
• Experience as Project Executive, Senior PM, or Division Manager.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems design incl. medical gas, RO/DI, acid waste.
• Experience managing project P&L, budgets, and financials.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent client relationship management and business development.
• Familiarity with California plumbing codes and permitting.
• Experience with design-build or design‑assist plumbing scopes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Bay Area jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of multiple plumbing projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget.
• Senior point of contact for clients, GCs, architects, and engineers on plumbing scope.
• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and field staff.
• Oversee project financials: budgeting, forecasting, cost control, billing, profitability.
• Review bids with estimating/preconstruction teams and support proposals.
• Drive business development with healthcare, bioscience, data center, and commercial clients.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and healthcare/lab requirements.
• Collaborate with Safety Manager to enforce safety protocols.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships and performance.
• Travel to Bay Area sites to support oversight and client relationships.
