Job summary

CPL is seeking a senior engineering professional to own and deliver building systems projects in Atlanta. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through completion, ensuring technical excellence and client partnership.

You will drive project strategy, manage budgets, and elevate quality standards while growing relationships with clients and stakeholders within the CPL engineering practice.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience in building systems.
• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• Professional licensure.
• Depth of expertise in mechanical building systems; plumbing and fire suppression desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across projects, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality across practices.
• Develop talent and lead high-performing teams.
• Own client relationships and serve as trusted advisor through project lifecycle.
• Coordinate across architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural teams.
• Define project strategy, scope, goals, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure financial performance, manage billing, invoicing, and resource planning.
• QA/QC reviews on designs, calculations, and methodologies.
• Contribute to business growth through proposals and client engagement.
