Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large mechanical construction projects across multiple sites, with travel required to project locations. The role involves directing field PMs, GCs, and owners, and ensuring budgets and schedules are met while growing the business.

The candidate will oversee pre-construction, procurement, and submittal processes, manage subcontractors, and drive cost reporting, change orders, and project profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related experience.
• Degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar preferred.
• Minimum 4 years leading large multi-million-dollar complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and consult with field project managers, GCs and owners; maintain successful relationships for project success.
• Manage pre-construction, preplanning and construction scheduling; leverage relationships to grow the business.
• Direct subcontractor management to meet timelines and budgets.
• Own and oversee projects, solve scheduling and budget challenges as a project team member.
• Review and approve budgets for labor, materials and subs; allocate resources accordingly.
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors.
