Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, a leading mechanical contractor serving the Southeast and Midwest, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Covington, GA. The role leads large projects and multiple initiatives, coordinating with field PMs, GCs, and owners while traveling to project sites as needed.

You will direct pre-construction, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years of experience) in Construction Management, Construction Science,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years in construction management.
• Experience leading large multi-million-dollar projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of construction processes and budgeting.
• Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field project managers, GCs, and owners to ensure project success.
• Oversee pre-construction, preplanning, and scheduling processes.
• Oversee subcontractor management to meet timelines and budgets.
• Approve budgets and allocate resources across project phases.
• Negotiate subcontractor contracts and manage payments.
• Provide indirect leadership to construction crews.
• Resolve design conflicts with engineers and architects.
• Prepare cost reports and change order management.
• Monitor safety and maintain a clean site environment.
