Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, with strong fundamentals in design and analysis.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience (or 12 years if using an Associate ME/ET pathway).
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% with occasional international opportunities.
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate to detailed system designs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer drawings and specifications into a fully functional mechanical system.
• Optimize functionality from as-sold to working design within budget in coordination with Electrical, Controls, and others.
• 3D modeling of systems and clash detection management; produce 2D customer drawings.
• Perform spatial analyses of clearance envelopes and forklift aisles; run system calculations.
