Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in Denver, CO to join our Energy and Decarbonization Group. This role focuses on engineering analysis and designs for thermal energy networks, optimizing existing and new systems.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a relevant field, at least 8 years of experience, and applicable certifications. Responsibilities include optimizing heating and cooling systems, developing energy models, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 3 months in CO.
• Energy Certifications and Accreditations such as CGD, CEM, LEED AP BD+C.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and optimize heating and cooling systems.
• Develop hydraulic models and energy models.
• Optimize control sequences.
• Assess TEN feasibility based on site and building data.
