Dewberry Engineers Incorporated in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their Energy and Decarbonization Group. This role focuses on delivering engineering solutions related to heating and cooling systems for various projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Thermal Energy Networks, a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, and at least 8 years of experience. Dewberry offers an attractive benefits package and a competitive salary range between $136,850 and $195,500 annually.
Due to increasing demand for decarbonization expertise, we are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer with Thermal Energy Network (TEN) expertise to join our Energy and Decarbonization Group in our Denver, CO office.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering analysis and associated designs specific to both existing building / campus and new construction projects. Please have a thorough understanding of building energy and distribution systems, including the ability to analyze existing and design new district energy systems, central plants, and thermal energy networks (including geothermal TENs) for large scale projects. As a part of Dewberry’s Energy and Decarbonization group you will work with a team of specialized engineers on a variety of private, public, and federal projects. This individual will work closely with energy engineers in addition to other mechanical, electrical, plumbing/fire protection, civil, structural, architecture, and other disciplines to provide full-range services to our local, regional, and national clients. This role reports to the Discipline Manager.

The projected range for this position is $136,850 to $195,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
