Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Project Engineer III - Mechanical in Seattle, WA to join our Engineering & Design team. You will help design high-performance building systems and guide projects from concept through operation using our DBOM approach.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, an Engineering in Training certificate, and 5+ years of AutoCAD and Revit experience, with familiarity in MATLAB, VBA, Python, and Bentley/RISA/SAP 2000 tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required or equivalent experience.
• Engineering in Training Certificate required.
• 5 years of AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents project correspondence, issues, decisions and directions.
• Follows McKinstry Engineering standards and procedures.
• Contributes to multiple projects and timelines concurrently.
• Manages workload to deliver tasks on time and within budget.
• Provides engineering analysis to support sales and early design efforts.
• Defines, communicates, and manages scope and design intent for supervisor review.
