Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 5 years of relevant work experience including NPD, quality, sustainability, lifecycle, or product support.
• Experience applying thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, mechanics of materials, dynamics, or related disciplines.
• Direct experience with compressors strongly preferred; rotating equipment ok.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Product Development for HVAC compressor applications; test and validate components.
• Develop mechanical test plans; analyze data using NX/SolidWorks/ANSYS; translate results into design improvements.
• Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to transition concepts to production launch.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and contribute to Lean development initiatives.
• Investigate root causes via lab testing and structured problem solving.
