Job summary

Copeland is seeking an Experienced Project Engineer to drive the development and commercialization of next-generation HVAC compressor technologies. You will provide technical leadership across the New Product Development lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, and global teams to bring innovations from concept to production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of engineering experience, strong fundamentals in mechanical design, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanical design.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts supporting development of advanced HVAC compressor platforms.
• Plan, execute, and interpret development and validation testing.
• Evaluate product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost tradeoffs.
• Analyze engineering data and provide technical recommendations to support product decisions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support prototype and production builds.
• Provide technical guidance across cross-functional product development teams.
• Develop and improve engineering analysis tools and methodologies.
• Present technical findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
• Apply Lean principles and risk mitigation strategies throughout the product development process.
