Job summary

Copeland in Sidney, Ohio is seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical Product Development to lead the design, testing, and validation of next-generation HVAC compressors. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
5 years of relevant work experience, including New Product Development or product support.
Experience with 3D CAD and engineering analysis tools: NX, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, CATIA; ANSYS or Minitab.
Direct compressor experience preferred; rotating equipment experience considered.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead Mechanical Product Development to design, test, and validate compressor systems.
Develop and execute mechanical test plans; analyze data and drive design improvements.
Collaborate with manufacturing and sourcing to transition concepts to production.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the global engineering team.
