Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a capable procurement professional to support SourceBlue project delivery. You will review drawings and specs, develop scopes of work, solicit bids, prepare bid tabulations, and coordinate documentation for approval to enable competitive sourcing.

You will conduct comprehensive bid evaluations, BAFOs, and ROA documentation, while ensuring alignment with project needs and procurement schedules. Limited travel and collaboration across teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Supply Chain, or related field with at least 4 years in procurement or related roles.
• Broad knowledge of construction and supply chain operations.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Experience analyzing supplier proposals, evaluating pricing and scope, and coordinating with project teams.
• Analytical thinking, judgment, and attention to detail; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SB competitive bid procurement, including BAFOs and RFQ/RFP development.
• Prepare bid documentation and review comments on bid lists.
• Develop, refine, and finalize scopes of work for procurement packages.
• Receive and tabulate supplier proposals; manage bid clarifications and BAFOs.
• Draft ROA documentation for review by SB Procurement and Preconstruction leads.
• Submit POs following ROAs per department procedures.
• Participate in project team meetings to support procurement execution and scheduling.
• Escalate complex issues to Procurement supervisor and contribute to process improvements.
