Job summary

Upgrade Resources seeks a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager (Mechanical) to lead mechanical construction efforts across multiple Texas markets. You will oversee scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety on projects up to $10 million, coordinating with superintendents and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or construction science
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical construction project management experience on large projects
• OSHA-30 certification or ability to obtain within six months
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, mechanical systems and codes
• Experience managing projects up to $10 million and supervising PMs
• Willingness to work across multiple Texas sites
• Authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship
• Design-build or design-assist delivery experience (preferred)
• Data center, healthcare, or industrial exposure (preferred)
• PMP or similar certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide project management direction for mechanical construction projects ranging up to $10 million; accountable for scope, budget, schedule, quality and safety
• Lead each project with the superintendent and control development
• Staff key project positions through regional dept heads and superintendents
• Serve as primary client/GC/architect/engineer liaison; attend progress meetings
• Negotiate, prepare and issue subcontracts; manage subcontractor performance
• Prepare and update the master schedule and variance reports
• Manage contract costs, billings, collections and change orders; pursue additional work
• Develop new business opportunities with clients or geographic areas
• Ensure document controls comply with contract requirements through closeout
• Supervise and mentor assistant PMs and engineers
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and applicable codes
