Job summary

Haydon Healy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical installations for hyperscale data centers across the United States. You will own projects from preconstruction through completion, directing project managers, engineers, and field teams while maintaining safety, schedule, and budget.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in mechanical construction with data center experience, plus strong capabilities in forecasting, procurement and change orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of mechanical construction/project management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale mechanical packages from start to finish.
• Comfortable managing project financials, forecasting, procurement and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale HVAC, piping, plumbing and mechanical construction projects.
• Manage Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen and field teams.
• Own project financials, forecasting, procurement, change management and cost control.
• Coordinate mechanical systems including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, equipment and controls.
• Manage relationships with GCs, owners, design teams, trade partners and hyperscale clients.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, billings and project closeout.

Senior Mechanical Project Manager – Data Centers

I'm working with a leading mechanical contractor delivering major hyperscale data center projects across the US. They have extensive experience across mechanical construction, including HVAC, process piping, power piping, plumbing, industrial equipment, ventilation and mission-critical infrastructure.

They're looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of large-scale mechanical projects from preconstruction through completion.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale HVAC, piping, plumbing and mechanical construction projects
• Manage Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen and field teams
• Own project financials, forecasting, procurement, change management and cost control
• Coordinate mechanical systems including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, equipment and controls
• Manage relationships with GCs, owners, design teams, trade partners and hyperscale clients
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, billings and project closeout

Ideal background:

• 8+ years of mechanical construction/project management experience
• Experience managing large-scale mechanical packages from start to finish
• Experience with project financials, forecasting, procurement and change orders
• Comfortable leading large project teams and working directly with GCs and owners
• Data center / mission-critical experience strongly preferred
• Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management degree or strong equivalent industry experience
