Upgrade Resources seeks a Traveling Project Manager / Sr. PM - Mechanical to lead mechanical construction projects across Texas, traveling weekly with weekends at home. Projects valued up to $10 million will require oversight of scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety, with a relocation option and per diem.

The role demands 4-year mechanical/construct. science background and 5+ years PM experience in mechanical construction; OSHA-30 or certification is expected within six months.

Qualifications

• 4-year mechanical engineering or construction science degree, or commensurate levels of technical training and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical construction project management experience across multiple sectors (industrial, healthcare, data center).
• Willingness to travel weekly and relocate if needed; OSHA-30 or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety on projects up to $10M.
• Knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, and piping systems, and applicable codes and standards.
• Project management skills across documentation, cost control, procurement, scheduling, change orders, and negotiations.
• Ability to work autonomously on a remote jobsite; valid Driver's License and clean MVR.
• Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.
• Preferred: travel/per diem experience; $10M+ projects; hyperscale data center experience; design-build/design-assist delivery; PMP or similar certification; bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Provide overall management direction on one or more mechanical construction projects up to $10M at remote project sites.
• Lead projects with the superintendent; control development and supervise staff.
• Staff project positions through regional leaders and department heads.
• Serve as primary client/GC/engineer liaison and attend progress meetings.
• Negotiate and issue subcontracts; manage subcontractor performance.
• Prepare and update master schedule and variance reports.
• Manage contract costs, billings, collections, and change orders; pursue additional work.
• Mitigate risk and implement corrective actions to protect schedule.
• Ensure contract-compliant document controls through closeout and as-built delivery.
• Supervise project managers and engineers; ensure safety program compliance.
