Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee design-build and field operations for a major construction client. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractor relationships, and project documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with PMs, superintendents, and HR for staffing, onboarding, and client satisfaction, balancing scope, time, and cost throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum work experience in project management or a BS/BA in a related field.
• Proficient with budgets for construction projects and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
• Experience leading teams with proven leadership skills.
• Familiar with MS Office and construction PM software.
• Understanding of contracts and subcontract documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all project documentation.
• Schedule and lead project hand-off meetings before construction.
• Prepare construction budgets from plans and verify cost code accuracy.
• Obtain permits and finalize schedules of values for owner billing.
• Build and manage project schedules with field supervisors.
• Manage project budgets, job-cost reporting, and profitability.
• Develop and negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Contractually manage subcontractors and maintain material logs.
