Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee mechanical construction projects in the United States, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. You will coordinate subcontractors, review submittals, and maintain strong communication with owners and field staff.

The role requires HVAC/piping knowledge, CM software experience, and a willingness to travel domestically. OSHA 30 certification is preferred or will be required after hiring.

Qualifications

• Experience managing mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
• Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, construction details/design, and regulations.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages.
• Ability to travel domestically and work outside normal hours/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate subcontractor work on site to meet construction schedules and quality standards
• Manage and coordinate mechanical construction projects from conception to completion
• Order materials and equipment, issue subcontracts, develop billings, manage RFIs and change orders
• Maintain knowledge of contract/subcontract conditions, scope, and specifications
• Ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction
