Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Construction Program Manager for mission critical projects in the United States. You will lead project teams and subcontractors, cultivate owner relationships, and oversee preconstruction activities including bidding, vendor qualifications, estimating, procurement strategy, and scheduling.

You will manage QA/QC and commissioning, drive risk evaluation, negotiate contracts, and make budget decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management
10+ years of proven experience, preferably in the Mission Critical industry
Willing and able to travel for projects
Proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems
Thorough understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes
Experience with Methods of Procedures (MOP) process
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, P6, and other management tools
Strong communication, customer focus, professionalism, integrity
Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Manage assigned project team members and subcontractors.
Cultivate and grow project owner relationships and relationships with professional groups.
Engage in preconstruction, including bid procedures, bid reviews, vendor and subcontractor qualifications, estimating, procurement strategy, and scheduling.
Manage QA/QC programs and commissioning processes.
Lead construction risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budget decisions.
Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.
Lead construction progress meetings.
Oversee design development.
Travel as needed for projects
