Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Maintenance Planner to optimize the maintenance workflow, coordinating with crafts, operations, and management to ensure safe and effective planning in a chemical plant environment.

You will lead scheduling, materials, and service planning, document field data, and support continuous improvement of the maintenance planning process using SAP and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial planning experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
• Experience in a chemical plant or heavy industry.
• Experience in planning in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Hexion standard maintenance work flow process.
• Interact with operation staff to screen work notifications and ensure scope, equipment, priority, and dates are understood.
• Walk job area to clarify scope and document field information for the job plan.
• Plan out job steps and resources including labor, materials, services, tools, and instructions.
• Write work instructions when standard ones do not exist; collaborate with specialists and engineers.
