Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Texas to follow the maintenance workflow, collaborate with operations, and prepare detailed job plans. You will walk job sites, document field data, and craft work instructions with input from discipline engineers, ensuring safe and efficient planning.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial planning, SAP experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with craftsmen, vendors, and management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industrial planning experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
• Experience as job planner or estimator in chemical/heavy industry.
• SAP planning experience and ability to read vendor manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance workflow to maximize effectiveness of crafts and maintenance function.
• Interact with operation teams to ensure scope, priority, and completion dates are realistic.
• Walk job area to clarify scope, take field measurements, and document field information.
• Write work instructions where standard ones do not exist; consult with specialists as needed.
• Assemble and issue job packages; monitor planning backlog and drive improvements.
• Monitor planning accuracy and update PM plans and equipment BOMs as needed.
