Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering with extensive leadership in complex projects.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, structural mechanics, and thermal analysis.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on nuclear or high-hazard systems.
• Proficiency with industry standards such as ASME BPVC and ANSI/IEEE.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design, development, and optimization of SMRs including core mechanical, thermal and structural design.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and design analyses to support reactor development and licensing submissions.
• Coordinate system integration across nuclear, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing engineering team and manage project milestones.
• Ensure design work complies with applicable codes and maintain design basis documentation.
