Job summary

Kintec Global is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Estimator for a full-time remote, work-from-home role focused on estimating mechanical scope for large-scale data center construction projects in the United States.

The position requires at least 5 years of mechanical estimating experience, including 18+ months in data center projects, and proficiency with estimating software and Excel. Remote collaboration with preconstruction, project management, and operations teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical/industrial estimating experience.
• 18+ months of data center construction estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for data center construction projects, including quantity takeoffs, material and equipment pricing, labor analysis, and subcontractor evaluation.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop competitive bid packages for mechanical work on data center projects.
• Collaborate virtually with internal teams during the bid process.
• Support proposal development, bid reviews, and post-bid analysis.
• Contribute to improving estimating processes and historical cost data.
• Mentor junior estimating staff as needed.
