Responsibilities

• Develop competitive bid packages for mechanical work on data center projects.
• Collaborate virtually with internal teams during the bid process.
• Support proposal development, bid reviews, and post-bid analysis.
• Contribute to improving estimating processes and historical cost data.
• Mentor junior estimating staff as needed.

Senior Mechanical Estimator – Full-Time Remote (Work from Home)

Kintec Global are recruiting on behalf of an established U.S. Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm that is expanding its data center portfolio. The company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator for a full-time remote, work-from-home position focused on estimating mechanical scope for large-scale data center construction projects.

This is a fully remote role based in the United States. You will work from home while collaborating with preconstruction, project management, and operations teams on competitive bids for data center builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for data center construction projects, including quantity takeoffs, material and equipment pricing, labor analysis, and subcontractor evaluation.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop competitive bid packages for mechanical work on data center projects.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home-office setup for full-time remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background with an EPC, general contractor, or mechanical contractor on industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
