Job summary

Job Juncture partners with an established engineering firm to seek a senior mechanical engineering leader for its Seattle team. You will balance technical oversight, people leadership, client relationships, and business strategy while remaining connected to meaningful project work.

This role leads multidisciplinary teams, helps grow the mechanical practice, and shapes delivery standards. Regular in-person collaboration in the greater Seattle area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Significant experience in consulting engineering or closely related environment.
• Strong background in HVAC and building mechanical systems.
• Experience leading projects, teams, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical oversight across complex mechanical engineering projects
• Manage and strengthen key client relationships
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and support staff development
• Review project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall performance
• Provide quality control and technical guidance across multiple projects
• Support proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
• Mentor engineers and designers at various experience levels
• Help improve internal standards, processes, and project delivery
• Contribute to resource planning, workload forecasting, and long-term business strategy
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients and internal teams
