Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE license or FE Exam preferred.
• 5+ years in mechanical engineering, mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and pump/compressor analysis is required.
• Proficiency with engineering software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, WaterGEMS/WaterCAD, EPANET.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate models for underground and surface mine utility systems.
• Maintain as-built drawings and system records.
• Support future mine planning and capacity evaluation.
• Review vendor deliverables and oversee construction and commissioning of mine utility systems.
• Provide mechanical support for conveyors, crushers, and fixed-plant equipment.
