Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead advanced thermal management and production solutions for high-performance systems. You will drive strategy, mentor engineers, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and sales to deliver innovative cooling and production solutions for mission-critical environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and 4+ years in manufacturing settings, with hands-on experience in RDHX/CDU

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Solid project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initial sale through shipment, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to ensure efficient, cost-effective production and maintain DFM guidelines within the engineering team.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Optimize processes and propose cost-saving initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Manage vendor relationships and component purchasing, ensuring timely delivery and resolving supply chain challenges.
• Research and recommend technology improvements for existing products and drive innovation in design and manufacturing practices.
• Develop and track performance metrics for projects, production handoffs, and departmental improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship, including facilitating engineering meetings, training programs, and supporting the development of subject matter experts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing operations.
