Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a Senior Controls Specialist to drive end‑to‑end control solutions for liquid cooling and air movement products. You will guide requirements, design, validation, commissioning, and field support while aligning with safety and electrical standards.

As a senior resource, you will collaborate with mechanical, refrigeration, manufacturing, and QA teams, mentor engineers, and influence the controls technology roadmap through hands‑on leadership and strong problem

Qualifications

Requires associate degree in Electrical/Automation technology or related field.
5+ years of progressive controls engineering experience in industrial/HVAC/datacenter environments.
Ability to design control systems across full lifecycle with disciplined engineering practices.
Strong networking experience (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet) and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Implement controls solutions using established architectures, hardware, software standards, and safety requirements.
Define and maintain platform standards for PLC/HMI, I/O, panels, networks, and alarm philosophy.
Lead detailed design and implementation of controls narratives, OP sequences, and software development.
Establish verification plans; review test procedures; lead bench and system testing.
