RTX is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, documentation and sustainment of test environment systems in the Test Equipment Engineering Directorate. The role requires hands-on development from concept through production, with a focus on mechanical test systems such as vibration, thermal, and electro-optical environments.

This 100% onsite position is in Tucson, AZ. Applicants must have a DoD secret clearance eligibility, eight plus years of experience in mechanical design

Qualificações

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of eight years of technical/engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support.
• ProE/CREO Parametric for complex design and engineering workflows.
• GD&T analysis experience.
• Experience creating mechanical drawing packages.

Responsabilidades

• Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems (vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, electro-optical) for production testing environments.
• Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements.
• Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
