Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate in Tucson, onsite. You will design, develop, document, and sustain complex test environments for Raytheon missile defense products while mentoring junior engineers across all lifecycle stages.

You will work on vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF and optical test solutions, using CREO/ProE and GD&T concepts, contributing to production and qualification testing and packaging activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of engineering experience.
• Advanced degree plus 3+ years of related work experience.
• Experience in mechanical design and production support required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and sustain test environment systems.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute across lifecycle.
• Create mechanical test systems for vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, EO.
• Identify design improvements to raise performance.
