Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 5+ years experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Proficiency in CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Own technical tasks and serve as a prime contact for complex mechanical problems.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead small teams across multiple functions.
• Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for defense systems.
• Collaborate with factories and suppliers on new product integration and manufacturing improvements.
• Conduct tolerance analyses to ensure form, fit, and function.
• Apply DFMA/Design for Producibility principles to improve designs.
• Support production, first article inspections, and root-cause investigations of hardware issues.
