Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an experiencedMechanical/ME Engineer to design and analyze complex systems for DOE and commercial nuclear markets. You will lead a small team, create SolidWorks models, and supervise fabrication with a focus on manufacturability and verification.

Responsibilities include deigning to standards, performing ANSYS analyses, and coordinating with PMs, systems, and manufacturing to deliver robust solutions while ensuring safety and quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with design for manufacture (DFM) and system-level design.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to document analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs based on customer and regulatory requirements.
• Decompose requirements into manufacturable designs and verify V&V.
• Design for manufacture (DFM) and create 3D models and shop drawings.
• Apply GD&T to designs and perform structural/thermal analyses (FEA).
• Lead small engineering team and coordinate with PM and engineers.
• Interface with systems, design, manufacturing and testing teams.
