The candidate will mentor engineers and collaborate across Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Clinical teams. The position requires extensive medical device experience and a strong mechanical engineering background, with leadership

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of medical device experience.
• Proven experience in the development of medical devices and SME in the field.
• Experience with safety standards and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
• Leadership and mentoring of engineering staff.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and test wristed robotic instruments for minimally invasive surgery.
• Innovate and improve existing technologies to enhance precision and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into product lines.
• Work with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Supplier, Quality and Clinical engineering teams to implement requirements and prototypes.
• Develop simulation or characterization methodologies to model system behavior.
• Perform risk analysis and implement safety mitigations for FDA approvals.
