Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Product Engineering for Single-Port Accessories to design and strengthen the da Vinci accessory portfolio.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable components and to support cost-reduction initiatives for high-volume production. You will perform risk analyses, develop manufacturing drawings, and contribute to device safety and usability through iterative prototyping, testing, and verification

Formación

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required; MSME preferred.
• Strong background in mechanical design and manufacturability.
• Experience with CAD, FEA, and test prototyping.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and document mechanical components for surgical accessories.
• Analyze functional requirements and maintain design history files.
• Perform risk analysis (FMEA) and implement mitigations.
• Create specifications and manufacturing drawings for cost-effective production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer designs to manufacturing.
