Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ to lead design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection for new buildings and renovations. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to client relations and business development in a hybrid office setting.

You should have 10+ years in an A/E services firm, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and strong Revit MEP skills. PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in an A/E services firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience designing HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and fire protection systems.
• Strong writing, reporting, and proposal skills.
• PE license preferred (NC) and Revit MEP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate on concepts, designs, and construction documents for buildings.
• Provide mechanical leadership on large multi-discipline projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and project profitability.
