Work With Your Handz LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of commercial HVAC and related systems, collaborating with our Lead In-House Engineer and the sales team.

You will conduct field surveys, perform load calculations, and develop fully engineered mechanical layouts and drawings with CAD, while aligning with project management and CRM processes to deliver client-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in mechanical contracting, MEP, or industrial engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but hands-on expertise can substitute.
• Proficient in heating and cooling load calculations and building system design.
• Hands-on CAD drafting experience; CRM familiarity (Salesforce a plus).
• Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license for site visits and ability to pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering support to design high-performance mechanical systems.
• Join sales calls and client meetings as technical SME to present recommendations.
• Conduct field surveys and evaluate existing mechanical infrastructure across the Greater Pittsburgh area.
• Create HVAC layouts and project drawings using CAD.
• Document project details in Salesforce and align sales and PM teams.
• Support project managers and crews throughout execution.
