Work With Your Handz LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Design Build Sales Engineer to partner with internal resources and drive design-build projects, equipment replacements, and mid-to-large commercial mechanical solutions.

This role combines technical consulting, client relationship building, and hands-on estimating with CRM and MS Office proficiency to close sales and deliver full MEP capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• 3+ years HVAC project sales experience, or 7+ years as a commercial field service tech.
• Deep knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and building operation needs.
• Strong networking, negotiating, and closing skills with track record of overcoming objections.
• Proficiency with CRM software, estimation tools, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Sell design-build projects and engineer customized mechanical solutions for repair and replacement projects.
• Conduct client needs analyses, deliver technical presentations, negotiate terms, and close sales.
• Record prospects and activity in CRM; provide status updates to sales/operations leadership.
• Participate in estimating process and review final proposal specifications with Sales Manager.
• Partner with internal units to offer full MEP solutions and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Review contracts for accuracy before submission and assist with project turnover.
• Attend client and job-site meetings to ensure ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Aim to consistently meet/exceed annual sales quotas through networking and training.
