Work With Your Handz LLC in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Design Build Sales Engineer to turn complex mechanical needs into design-build solutions for mid-to-large commercial projects. You will partner with internal resources to estimate, propose, and close opportunities while delivering full MEP capabilities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of direct commercial HVAC project sales experience or 7 years as a commercial field service technician.
• Deep knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, mechanical design concepts, and building operations.
• Strong networking, client identification, negotiating, and closing skills with proven success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple proposals and priorities.
• Proficiency with CRM software, estimation tools, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Sell design-build projects and engineer customized mechanical solutions for repair and replacement projects across an established commercial and industrial client base.
• Conduct client needs analyses, deliver technical presentations, negotiate terms, and close sales based on facility requirements.
• Record all prospects and sales activity in the CRM and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Participate in the estimating process, review final proposal specifications, and engage with Sales Manager and team.
• Partner with internal units to offer complete MEP solutions and ensure contract requirements are understood and implemented.
• Review contracts for accuracy before submitting to operations and accounting; provide project management guidance for turnover.
• Attend client and job-site meetings to ensure open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Meet or exceed annual sales quotas through networking and relationships; participate in vendor training to maintain technical expertise.
