Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a professional Mechanical Engineer in Houston with 6+ years of industrial experience. You will design complex mechanical systems, conduct stress analyses, and prepare construction documents under supervision. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and support startup activities.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in piping, HVAC, and material specifications, with the ability to estimate costs and develop execution plans for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• 6+ years of related industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical design for complex assignments under general supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Provide field support during startup and resolve field issues.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and conformance to specs.
• Coordinate with discipline leads to ensure timely project delivery.
