RTX is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate in Tucson, AZ. The role is 100% onsite, requiring DoD Secret clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship.

You will design complex test environments, support production, and mentor junior engineers across the lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing test systems for vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF and electro‑optical environments and improving designs for reliability and accuracy.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of mechanical design experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of related work experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in mechanical design and/or production support.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools (CREO / ProE preferred).
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to create mechanical drawings or engineering documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Create mechanical test systems used across vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF and electro‑optical environments.
• Build and validate test solutions delivering high accuracy in production settings.
• Diagnose production issues and recommend design improvements to elevate performance.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute across the lifecycle from design to sustainment.
