You will own end-to-end mechanical designs, participate in design reviews, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure manufacturability and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mechanical or electromechanical design experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on fabrication and rapid prototyping skills.
• 3D CAD proficiency with GD&T.
• Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design of rugged, vehicle-based subsystems from concept to low-rate production.
• Apply first-principles engineering to each design.
• Build and test prototypes of complex electromechanical systems.
• Lead design reviews and hardware test plans for harsh environments.
• Balance vehicle subsystems for speed, mass, manufacturability, and cost.
• Collaborate across electrical, software, and mechanical teams.
• Foster a positive, energetic team environment.
• Support hardware demonstrations with customers.
• Travel to test sites and vendors as needed.
