Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design experience with engineering management experience.
• Proven experience transitioning products from concepts into ruggedized fielded products; military hardware a plus.
• 3D CAD proficiency and ability to apply GD&T to engineering drawings.
• Experience with production processes including machining, sheet metal, injection molding, welding, wire harnessing and 3D printing for manufacturability.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead family of systems development from concept through production across internal stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor a team of ~5-6 Mechanical Engineers.
• Oversee full-cycle subsystem and LRU development, from requirements to manufacturing transition.
• Ensure engineering excellence via design reviews, analyses, and hardware testing.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and reliability teams to ensure high-quality documentation for production.
