Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance (must maintain).
• 10+ years of Mechanical Engineer experience.
• BS/MS/PhD in a related engineering field.
• CAD skills and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
• Hands-on fabrication experience and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware from concept generation to real-world use.
• Use first principles physics as basis for decisions.
• Lead design reviews, run analyses, visit vendors, define test plans.
• Build prototypes, analyze failures, transition to production.
• Support hardware demonstrations with customers.
• Travel to test sites as needed.
