Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Active North Carolina PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 15 years of design experience.
• LEED certification/experience not required but a plus.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Aufgaben

• Meet with clients to determine HVAC and ventilation requirements.
• Develop HVAC and ventilation system designs based on project scope and codes.
• Provide design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for various building types.
• Perform load/energy calculations using Trace 700, HAP, IES.
• Conduct existing building surveys and document HVAC systems.
• Prepare detailed design documents and reports.
• Coordinate with plumbing, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Provide construction administration support and RFI responses.
• Oversee and guide junior engineers; lead project teams and client interactions.
