Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Philadelphia, PA to lead design as a project manager or lead engineer for moderate to complex mechanical projects.

Role includes supporting project management, engineering analysis, and mentoring across building sector work with a strong emphasis on HVAC, energy efficiency, and code compliance. Hybrid work schedule and ESOP ownership are key benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required; PE license required.
• Minimum 7 years in building design consulting; 8 preferred.
• Experience leading HVAC/plumbing and fire protection design on projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and client communication.
• Provide mentoring and team training; ensure QA/QC per IMEG standards.
