Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineer with HVAC design specialization to contribute across six market sectors, integrating engineering knowledge with on-site experience from Henderson Building Solutions to deliver an exceptional client experience.

You will mentor and lead design staff, oversee project design from concept to completion, and develop innovative, cost-effective building system solutions while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural engineering. PE license may count toward 1 year of experience.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating across disciplines.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and HVAC design software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor designers and engineers across teams, providing technical guidance.
• Lead project design efforts from concept through completion.
• Develop solutions to complex engineering challenges and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Ensure drawings, specs, reports meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Oversee quality reviews and enforce design standards.
