Blattner Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Gas Power Generation to lead design, analysis, and technical oversight for major projects. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with Owners, EORs, and vendors, and ensure code-compliant, economical designs across phases from pre-bid to closeout.

The role requires extensive communication skills, a PE is preferred, travel up to 25%, and a strong background in power generation equipment sizing, testing, and integration.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree.
• Five+ years of progressive engineering/supervisory experience in related industry.
• PE license preferred with emphasis on mechanical engineering.
• Strong communication and budgeting skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead across the engineering lifecycle with emphasis on schedule conformance.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and coordinate with Owners/EORs.
• Oversee design reviews to meet industry standards and safety practices.
• Coordinate with ISC, Estimating, and Construction teams on equipment selection.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company best practices.
