Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplined team at the Idaho Falls NRF site. You will interface with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers and provide technical knowledge for executing capital projects within the Naval Reactors Facility at INL.

You will work with project managers, construction oversight, and procurement staff on projects from under one year to several years and multi-million-dollar scopes, ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with at least 9 years of experience, or higher degrees with proportionally fewer years.
• Experience interfacing with engineers and construction subcontractors on capital projects.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team within NRF/NNL environments.

Responsibilities

• Interface with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
• Provide technical knowledge for project execution at NRF facilities.
• Deliver projects ranging from short (<1yr) to multi-year, multi-million-dollar upgrades.
